Kirksville Brake & Muffler… Your Complete Auto Service Center!
We pride ourselves on building relationships with our customers and providing quality work at a reasonable price. Our auto service center has long had a presence in the community of Kirksville, MO. The previous owners, Brent and Taryn Shafer, owned and operated the shop for 20 years. Prior to that, the shop operated under different owners for 30 years.
In 2017, Ron and Melissa Tennyson purchased Kirksville Brake & Muffler from the Shafers. Ron and Melissa were both born and raised in Kirksville, MO, and have many ties to the community.
Ron has always enjoyed working on and building vehicles. When the opportunity to purchase Kirksville Brake & Muffler presented itself, he jumped on the chance to make his passion a career.
Melissa is a graduate of Truman State University, having received her Bachelor’s degree in 2007 and her Master’s degree in 2013. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is the Assistant Controller of A.T. Still University.
